“Buntsy’s Neighborhood Food and Drink”, read the new and hard-to-miss signs that went up this past week at 2235 Empire Blvd, formerly AJ’s Steakhouse. I stopped in this afternoon to meet the new owners and learn about the new restaurant. They are not quite ready for a full reveal yet, but I was able to snap a few pictures of the new signs and I did get to take a peek inside at the renovations currently underway.
Owner Dave Bunts, a life long Webster resident, tells me that the new restaurant is heavily influenced by his appreciation of Webster and it’s community. I will be sitting down with Dave in the coming weeks to learn more about the restaurant, the renovations, the menu and his plans for this classic Webster location, so keep an eye out for an update soon!
