WebsterNeighbors.com was created to serve as a companion website to the very popular Webster, NY Facebook Group, which has grown to over 22,000 members (as of April 2018) and has become an indispensable forum for the sharing of local information and recommendations in Webster, NY and surrounding areas.
The Webster, NY Facebook Group was founded in March of 2009 by Jason Martorana, a Webster Schroeder High School graduate and long time Webster resident. Jason created the group to share photos and stories about Webster with a small group of about a dozen family members and friends. The group quickly went viral and it’s membership grew exponentially every month. Today, based on Facebook’s data and our analysis, we estimate that the group reaches 30-35% of all households in the Town of Webster, NY.
